The Capital Region Clean Energy Hub serves eight counties (Albany, Columbia, Greene, Rensselaer, Saratoga, Schenectady, Warren and Washington). The Hub is composed of nonprofit housing and energy organizations that have a long history of working with and advising individuals and families. As nonprofits, they offer unbiased, third-party support and assistance with the customer’s best interest in mind. Visit the Hub website at CleanEnergyCapitalRegion.org for more information.
Hub Energy Advisors can walk you through the process step-by-step from filling out applications, to selecting a contractor and applying for NYSERDA incentives and financing. They can also connect you to other resources, such as grant assistance to complete your home energy project or to pay for home repair. For example, your home energy assessment may recommend attic insulation, but your roof leaks, preventing the insulation from being installed. The Hub can help find resources to pay for this work so that the energy efficiency project can proceed.
True Building Performance is a participating NYSERDA contractor and we are proud to work with the Clean Energy Hub. The Energy Advisors will systematically take you through each of the steps of creating an affordable project. They are just a phone call or email away. Let’s get started!
